Writing a brief creators will follow

Only written rules can be used to reject a clip. Here is how to write them.

Updated ·1 min read

Your brief is the contract for every clip. Creators read it before they join, and you can only reject a clip for breaking a rule written in the campaign description or requirements.

What to include

  • What to clip or film, with links to the source footage or reference videos.
  • Must haves: tags, mentions, caption text, sound, minimum length, links in bio.
  • Must not haves: competitors, recycled content, certain topics.
  • The disclosure you expect, for example #ad at the start of the caption.
  • Who you want posting, in the creator details step.

Use the requirement toggles

The wizard has toggles for the common rules, such as brand mention in caption, no recycled content and minimum video length. Toggled rules show as a checklist on the campaign.

Rules sent by email, chat or a shared document after launch do not count. Add them to the campaign instead.
