Brand terms

The rules for running and funding campaigns on RaveRewards.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between the business you represent and [Company legal name] ("RaveRewards", "we", "us"). They apply when you create an organisation, run campaigns or fund budgets on RaveRewards. By accepting them you confirm you are allowed to bind that business.

Creators agree to separate creator terms. Our privacy policy and disclosure guide form part of these terms.

2. Words we use

  • Organisation: your brand or agency workspace on RaveRewards.
  • Campaign: a funded brief with a payout model, rates, platforms and rules.
  • Budget: the money you fund for a campaign, held for it until creators earn it.
  • Platform fee: our fee, a share of what creators earn on your campaigns.
  • Clip: a post a creator published on their own account and submitted to your campaign.

3. Your organisation and team

  • Everyone on your team must be at least 18 and use their own login.
  • Owners manage everything, including billing and the team. Admins manage campaigns, funding and reviews. Members can view. Every organisation keeps at least one owner.
  • You are responsible for what your team does in your organisation.
  • Agencies may run one organisation per client and must have the client's permission to do so.

4. Creating campaigns

Your brief must be accurate and lawful and must describe everything you expect from a clip. Campaigns for regulated products such as financial products, crypto, supplements, alcohol or gambling must follow the extra rules that apply to them, and we may decline them.

5. Funding

  • The minimum budget is $1,000 per campaign, with top ups from $100.
  • You fund by bank transfer or invoice using the reference on your funding request. Card funding is available on request with a processing fee of about 2.9% plus $0.30, shown before you pay and not refundable.
  • A campaign goes live, or starts on its scheduled date, once the funds are received.
  • Funds are held for the campaign and only leave it as creator earnings, platform fees or refunds.

6. Fees

The platform fee is 10% of what creators earn on your campaigns, or 8% for organisations we have verified. It is taken from the budget as each earning is credited, on top of the earning. The fee rate is locked when a campaign launches. There is no subscription and no setup, seat or listing fee.

7. How the budget is spent

  • CPM clips earn your rate for every full 1,000 views, within the minimum and maximum you set.
  • Nothing is credited before you approve a clip. Approved CPM clips keep earning for 7 days after approval.
  • Per post fees are credited once the clip is approved and reaches your minimum views.
  • Retainer amounts are paid at the end of each cycle for the posts delivered.
  • When the budget cannot cover the next credit and its fee, the campaign pauses and leaves Discover until you top up.

8. Reviewing clips

You must approve or reject every clip, and we ask you to decide within 7 days. You may only reject a clip for breaking a rule written in the campaign description or requirements, and you must give the creator a reason. Rules given anywhere else do not count.

You may ban a creator from your campaigns for abuse or fraud. We do not approve or reject clips for you.

9. Drafts and pre approval

If you require drafts, you review them in RaveRewards and keep comments there. Approving a draft does not stop you rejecting the posted clip if it breaks the written brief. Drafts and comments are kept as a record, even after a campaign ends.

10. Fraud checks and flags

We score every clip for signs of fake engagement and check for view spikes, uploader mismatches, duplicates and missing posts. A score of 70 or more, or any of those signals, opens a flag that pauses the clip's payout. Our team decides every flag. If a flag is upheld, the unsettled money returns to your budget.

11. Reversals

If you reject a clip after approving it, or a flag is upheld, the money it earned that has not settled returns to your budget with its fee. Money that has settled is final.

12. Refunds

  • You can request a refund of unspent budget once nothing on the campaign can still earn: every clip in review has been decided, every approved clip has finished its tracking window and, on a retainer, no cycle is running. The campaign pauses when you ask.
  • We review each request and may hold up to 10% of the refundable amount while late view checks and flags are resolved; the rest of the hold is released afterwards.
  • Money credited to creators, fees on it and card processing fees are not refundable.
  • Refunds go back to the account that funded the campaign.

13. Content rights

When you approve a clip you receive a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, not exclusive licence to use, copy, edit and share it to market the brand in the campaign, including in paid ads, and to pass that licence to your agencies. Where you supplied the source footage, templates or scripts, you own the finished clip once approved. Retainer work belongs to you once paid for.

You may use a creator's name and likeness only with their clip, not as a separate endorsement.

14. Advertising and disclosure

You share responsibility for clear disclosure. Never ask a creator to hide or soften it. Every claim in your brief must be true and backed by evidence. We do not review clips for advertising law compliance on your behalf.

15. Working with creators you meet here

For 6 months after your last campaign with a creator you met on RaveRewards, you agree not to pay them outside RaveRewards for the same kind of work without telling us first. This keeps the marketplace fair for the creators and brands who use it.

16. Visibility and data

Public and application only campaigns can appear on Discover. Invite only campaigns are hidden from Discover and from people who are not signed in. We do not share your campaign data with other brands. We may publish totals across the whole marketplace, such as views checked or amounts paid to creators, without naming you.

17. Suspension and termination

You can stop using RaveRewards at any time. We may suspend or close an organisation for fraud, unpaid funding, serious breaches of these terms or where the law requires it. Money already credited to creators stays theirs.

18. Disclaimers and liability

We run RaveRewards with care but provide it as it is. We do not promise any number of views, clips or sales. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the platform fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim and $500.

19. Indemnity

You will cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by your products, your brief, your claims about your products, or your breach of these terms.

20. Changes to these terms

We will tell owners by email at least 14 days before a material change applies. Fee changes never affect a campaign that has already launched.

21. Disputes and governing law

Talk to us first: most problems are solved within 30 days. These terms are governed by [Governing law to be confirmed], and disputes are decided by the courts named there.
