Why a clip gets rejected
Brands can only reject a clip for a rule written in the campaign. These are the common ones.
Every rejection comes with a reason you can read on the clip. Brands can only reject for rules written in the campaign description or requirements, not for rules sent anywhere else.
Common reasons
- Missing or hidden ad disclosure. See disclosing paid clips.
- A required tag, mention, sound or caption text is missing.
- The clip is on a platform the campaign does not pay for.
- Reused footage, a repost of someone else's clip, or a clip entered before.
- The clip breaks the content rules in the brief or our content rules.
- The post was edited, deleted or made private after it was submitted.
Rejected after approval
If a clip is rejected after it was approved, any money it earned that has not settled yet goes back to the campaign budget.
Think it was a mistake?
Message the brand through support with the clip link and the rule you believe you met. The brand makes the final call on rejections; our team handles flags and appeals.
